Role : Tech Architect

Role & Responsibilities :

The Tech Architect will be responsible for designing and governing enterprise-scale technology architecture, enabling cloud-native application development, modernizing platforms, and driving technical innovation. The role involves defining architecture standards, evaluating emerging technologies, leading engineering teams, and collaborating with Product, AI/ML, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

Architecture & Solution Design :

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cloud-native technology architectures for enterprise applications.

- Define application architecture, integration strategies, and platform modernization roadmaps.

- Develop architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and technical best practices.

- Ensure solutions align with business objectives, scalability requirements, and long-term technology strategy.

Cloud & Platform Modernization :

- Lead cloud-native application development and migration initiatives across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Design microservices, distributed systems, and API-driven architectures.

- Drive platform modernization by adopting containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native services.

- Ensure high availability, resilience, and operational excellence.

Technology Evaluation & Innovation :

- Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging technologies, frameworks, and engineering tools.

- Conduct architecture reviews, proof of concepts (POCs), and technology assessments.

- Define technology standards and engineering governance across development teams.

- Promote innovation through modern architecture and engineering practices.

Engineering & DevOps Collaboration :

- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, AI/ML, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Guide development teams on architecture implementation, coding standards, and performance optimization.

- Drive CI/CD adoption, automation, infrastructure as code, and cloud deployment strategies.

- Support troubleshooting, scalability improvements, and production readiness.

Performance, Security & Reliability :

- Design systems for scalability, fault tolerance, security, and maintainability.

- Optimize application performance through caching, asynchronous processing, and distributed architecture principles.

- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and governance frameworks.

- Define monitoring, logging, and observability strategies for production systems.

Leadership & Mentoring :

- Mentor engineering teams on architecture best practices and technical decision-making.

- Lead architecture governance, design reviews, and technical discussions.

- Collaborate with executive stakeholders to define technology roadmaps.

- Foster a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Mandatory Skills :

- 7-12 years of experience in Software Engineering with significant experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Lead Architect.

- Strong expertise in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.

- Experience with backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, and GraphQL.

- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

- Experience evaluating and recommending technologies, frameworks, and architecture patterns.

- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, and platform modernization.

- Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience designing AI/ML platforms or integrating Generative AI solutions into enterprise applications.

- Expertise in Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, or event-driven architectures.

- Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud automation.

- Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.

- TOGAF, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), or similar architecture certifications.

- Experience leading enterprise digital transformation or large-scale cloud modernization initiatives.
