Role & Responsibilities :

The Senior / Lead QA Engineer will be responsible for driving end-to-end quality engineering across web, enterprise, and AI-driven platforms.

The role involves designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, implementing automation frameworks, leveraging AI-assisted testing methodologies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

The incumbent will collaborate closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams while mentoring QA engineers and promoting quality-first engineering practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

1. Quality Engineering :

- Lead end-to-end quality assurance activities across web and AI-powered applications.

- Develop comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, integration, API, and system testing.

- Ensure software quality through effective test planning, execution, and defect management.

- Promote shift-left testing and quality-first engineering practices.

2. Automation Engineering :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.

- Automate web application, API, and regression test suites.

- Improve automation coverage and execution efficiency.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

3. AI-Assisted Testing :

- Implement AI-assisted testing methodologies to improve productivity and test effectiveness.

- Validate AI-powered applications, LLM responses, prompts, and AI workflows.

- Leverage AI tools for intelligent test generation, defect analysis, and automation optimization.

- Ensure quality, reliability, and consistency of AI-driven products.

4. Quality Assurance & Delivery :

- Perform manual and automated testing across multiple product releases.

- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.

- Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate with developers for timely issue resolution.

- Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

5. Leadership & Collaboration :

- Mentor QA engineers and promote best testing practices.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Architects, and DevOps teams.

- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes and tools.

Mandatory Skills :

- 5-10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.

- Strong expertise in Manual Testing and Automation Testing.

- Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.

- Exposure to AI-assisted testing methodologies and AI-driven application testing.

- Strong programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience testing Generative AI, LLM-based, or Machine Learning applications.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Familiarity with AI-powered QA tools such as Testim, Mabl, Functionize, or similar platforms.

- ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA certification.

- Experience leading QA teams and driving enterprise-scale quality engineering initiatives.
