Kaizen Technologies - SAP ABAP Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, Core Data Services (CDS), and OData services. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing SAP applications, with a strong emphasis on performance optimization using HANA-based techniques.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and support custom SAP ABAP programs and objects.

- Work on ABAP on HANA using advanced features like CDS Views, AMDPs, and performance-optimized SQL scripting.

- Build and expose OData services for SAP Fiori applications and other external integrations.

- Develop and maintain CDS views, including annotations for Fiori/UI5 applications.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, UI5/Fiori developers, and business users for requirement gathering and technical design.

- Analyze and optimize the performance of existing ABAP programs.

- Perform Unit Testing and support integration/system/UAT testing phases.

- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong experience in ABAP on HANA (CDS, AMDP, HANA Views).

- Expertise in OData service development and SAP Gateway.

- Strong knowledge of performance tuning techniques and HANA optimization.

- Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 consumption via OData is a plus.

- Good understanding of object-oriented ABAP programming.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
