Job Summary :

We are looking for a Kafka Engineer with strong experience in building and supporting real-time data streaming platforms. The role involves managing Kafka clusters, developing streaming pipelines, and ensuring high performance, reliability, and security of Kafka environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and maintain streaming data pipelines using Kafka and Kafka Connect.

- Monitor and optimize Kafka performance, throughput, and latency.

- Troubleshoot Kafka issues related to brokers, partitions, and consumer groups.

- Implement Kafka security (ACLs, authentication, encryption).

- Collaborate with application and data engineering teams.

Required Skills :

- Strong understanding of topics, partitions, brokers, and consumer groups.

- Experience with Kafka Connect and Schema Registry.

- Linux basics and troubleshooting skills.

- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have :

- Docker / Kubernetes.

- Java or Python.
