Location : PAN India (Hybrid)

Experience : 7-10 Years

Must Have :

Kafka, Mirror, AWS.

Key Responsibilities :

- Set up and administer Kafka topics, brokers, partitions, and ACLs.

- Configure and maintain Kafka Mirror Maker (v1/v2) for data replication between on-prem Kafka and AWS MSK.

- Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and disaster recovery across Kafka environments.

- Deploy and manage Kafka Clusters on both on-premises and cloud (AWS) environments.

- Work with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and other Kafka ecosystem tools as needed.

- Implement and monitor Kafka proxies for secured communication.

- Coordinate with developers, cloud engineers, and DevOps to integrate Kafka solutions into enterprise pipelines.

- Develop and maintain Kafka automation scripts for scaling, patching, and upgrades.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong expertise in Kafka administration and cluster management

- Proven experience with Kafka Mirror Maker (v1 or v2) setup and configuration

- Experience working with AWS MSK and cloud-managed Kafka services

- Hands-on with Kafka security, authentication, and authorization configurations

- Proficient in Kafka Proxy configuration and maintenance

- Strong troubleshooting skills for Kafka latency, replication lag, and broker failures

- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Confluent Control Center, or similar

Good to Have :

- Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Ansible

- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Terraform, or Helm

- Experience in Kafka performance tuning in hybrid cloud environments

- Knowledge of Confluent Kafka is a plus
