- Identify root causes/ debugging of problems and troubleshoot, considering both long and short-term impact of proposed solutions and developed workable solutions

- Monitor failures; help with message reprocessing.

- Manage Kafka operations, including VM, containers, connect cluster, cluster-linking health.

- Automate the daily operation related activities using ansible and Github.

- Co-ordinate with application teams to ensure the infrastructure is with the latest maintenance level.

- Perform upgrades and patching

- Ingest Kafka monitoring metrics to Grafana dashboard

- Enable Oauth and RBAC policy for applications

- Install certs, upgrade certs and enable SASL connectivity

What we are searching for :

- Retail and / or grocery industry experience is strongly preferred.

- Expert on Kafka components, architecture and its implementation.

- Experience in schema registry operations

- Experience with operating on containers AKS and GKE

- Knowledge of various integration patterns, data transfer protocols

- Knowledge of integration with IBM MQ, dataflow, Azure data factory

- Hands-on experience with Kafka on containers and VMs
