Experience : 3 to 5 years

Responsibilities :

- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate and develop backend solutions.

- Design and maintain scalable server-side architecture.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

- Integrate databases and ensure efficient data flow between systems.

- Write efficient, reusable, and secure backend code following best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade backend systems and APIs.

- Optimize application performance, including database query optimization and caching.

- Ensure proper security and data protection measures are in place.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for backend services.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Requirements and Skills:

- Proven experience as a Backend Developer.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.

- Strong working knowledge of MongoDB and SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

- Familiarity with asynchronous programming, middleware, and error handling.

- Good understanding of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2) and security best practices.

- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deployment and storage (S3).

- Experience with Git, Postman, and version control practices.

- Knowledge of Python for automation or backend scripting is an added advantage.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Strong organizational and analytical mindset.

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Docker or containerized deployments.

- Familiarity with Redis, message queues, or microservices architecture.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
