About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Juniper Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Juniper Mist, cloud management, wireless deployments, and end-to-end Wi-Fi project execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Juniper Mist wireless solutions and associated networking components. This role requires deep expertise in wireless networking, RF fundamentals, and Juniper controller/AP deployments.

Experience Required :

- 4-7 years of experience in Network Engineering with a strong focus on Wireless Networking and Juniper Mist solutions.

- Experience in enterprise Wi-Fi deployment projects is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities :

- Independently install, configure, and deploy Juniper Mist Edge, Access Points (APs), and wireless controllers.

- Execute complete Wi-Fi project cycles including pre-implementation planning, installation, configuration, and validation.

- Create templates, configure SSIDs, and adopt best practices for wireless deployment processes.

- Work closely with internal teams and vendors for deployment coordination, site readiness, and documentation updates.

- Configure Juniper controllers, APs, switches, and other networking hardware as per deployment standards.

- Manage Juniper Mist Cloud Dashboard and understand its functionalities, analytics, and automation capabilities.

- Troubleshoot WLAN issues including RF interference, coverage gaps, performance problems, and connectivity issues.

- Proactively identify potential network risks and implement preventive measures to ensure high availability and performance.

- Apply strong understanding of Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and RF fundamentals.

- Work on L2/L3 networking principles including VLANs, subnetting, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP), and switching architectures.

- Implement network security best practices including firewalls, ACLs, and secure LAN/WAN configurations.

- Manage cloud-based networking components and SaaS-based management platforms.

- Use Juniper Mist Dashboard, monitoring tools, and analytics platforms to track performance and troubleshoot.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for deployment activities, updates, and issue resolution.

- Prepare documentation, site reports, configuration details, and post-implementation summaries.

- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Juniper Mist Cloud, Mist Edge, AP deployment, and configuration.

- Expertise in wireless networking (WLAN), RF behaviour, and enterprise Wi-Fi deployments.

- Deep understanding of L2/L3 networking : VLANs, routing, switching, firewall basics.

- Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills for wireless network issues.

- Ability to work independently on deployment projects.

- Strong communication (written & verbal) and documentation skills.

- Juniper certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIS, or relevant WLAN certifications.

- Knowledge of other wireless platforms (Aruba, Cisco, Ruckus, Meraki, etc.).

- Experience with automation/scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.).

- Understanding of cloud networking concepts and SaaS platforms.

- Experience with NAC (Network Access Control) solutions.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.

- Relevant certification(s) preferred.
