Junior Systems Administrator

As a Junior Systems Administrator, you'll be a key part of our IT team, responsible for maintaining and supporting our company's technology infrastructure.

This role involves providing technical support to end-users, managing our systems and security tools, and handling IT onboarding for new employees.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide Technical Support : Respond to and resolve technical issues for employees via phone, email, or in person.

- Manage and track support requests, escalating complex problems to senior team members when necessary.

- Systems and Network Management : Monitor and maintain servers, workstations, and network equipment.

- Apply updates and security patches, perform regular system checks, and troubleshoot network issues (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).

- Security Administration : Manage and respond to security threats using tools like Microsoft Defender and

SentinelOne.

- Help conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement security measures to protect our systems.

- Cloud and Software Management : Administer and support our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and manage identity services with Entra ID.

- You will also be responsible for managing enterprise applications, including Microsoft 365, InTune, and Mimecast.

- Onboarding : Prepare IT resources for new employees, including setting up user accounts and configuring workstations.

- You will also conduct IT orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company systems and security protocols.

- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, standard operating

procedures, and troubleshooting guides to help both the IT team and employees.

Requirements :

Education : Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills :

- Microsoft 365 : Strong knowledge of administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and user management.

- InTune : Experience with mobile device and application management.

- Azure : Familiarity with virtual machines, storage, networking, and Entra ID.

- Security : Experience with endpoint protection tools like Microsoft Defender and SentinelOne, and email security with Mimecast.

- Familiarity with KnowBe4 is a plus.

- Operating Systems : Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux administration.

- Networking : Solid understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

- Scripting : Basic skills in PowerShell or Bash for automation.

- Virtualization : Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
