About the Role :

We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Junior Software Engineer with a strong foundation in JavaScript (both coding and theoretical concepts). This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to transition into Automation Testing and build expertise in modern automation frameworks like Playwright.

Key Responsibilities :

- Demonstrate strong proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals, including ES6+ concepts, asynchronous programming, closures, promises, and DOM manipulation.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on problem-solving and logic building.

- Learn and contribute to test automation frameworks, primarily using Playwright.

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

- Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies.

- Continuously upskill in automation tools, testing strategies, and best practices.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in JavaScript (coding + core concepts).

- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.

- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web application behavior.

- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing concepts.

- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn Automation Testing and tools like Playwright.

- Strong analytical thinking and debugging skills.
