Role Overview:

As a Jr QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust automated test suites to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality software products.

You will work closely with cross-functional development teams and product managers to identify critical test paths, execute automated scripts, and provide actionable insights on system performance.

Your contribution directly impacts the stability of our client applications, ensuring that every release meets stringent quality benchmarks before reaching the end user.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright to streamline the regression testing process and reduce manual intervention.

- Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid feedback loops during the software development lifecycle.

- Analyze application requirements and technical specifications to design comprehensive test scenarios that cover edge cases and functional dependencies.

- Document and track software defects in collaboration with the engineering team, providing detailed reports to facilitate quick resolution and prevent production issues.

- Maintain and refactor existing automation frameworks to improve script execution speed and overall test coverage across web-based platforms.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated proficiency in writing clean, maintainable test automation code using Javascript.

- Hands-on experience with Playwright Testing to build scalable automation frameworks for modern web applications.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective test strategies.

- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical findings to stakeholders and work effectively within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

- Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to shifting project priorities in an on-site work environment based in Gurgaon.

- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 1 - 3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
