Junior Founding Engineer - Backend Development

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices using Java or Golang

- Build and optimize RESTful / gRPC APIs for high-performance applications

- Work on distributed systems architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance

- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate and deploy models into production environments

- Improve system performance, latency, and scalability through continuous optimization

- Take end-to-end ownership of features from design to deployment and monitoring

- Participate in system design discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews

- Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment pipelines

Requirements :

- 1- 3 years of experience in backend development

- Strong proficiency in Java or Golang

- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design

- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and API development (REST/gRPC)

- Exposure to distributed systems and scalable backend design

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and modern deployment practices

- Experience working in startup or high-ownership environments is a strong plus

- Understanding of AI/ML model integration or data-driven systems is an added advantage

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
