Role Overview :

We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to support our infrastructure setup, deployment pipelines, and cloud operations. You will work closely with senior engineers to maintain scalable, secure, and reliable environments across modern cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Cloud Management Assist in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS, with exposure to Azure/GCP).

- CI/CD Support Help set up and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Support the team in writing and maintaining infrastructure scripts using Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Containerization Assist in managing containerized applications using Docker and learning the basics of Kubernetes orchestration.

- Monitoring & Performance Monitor system uptime, performance metrics, and alerts to ensure high availability across Dev, QA, and Production environments.

- Security & Compliance Support security best practices, including access control (IAM) and secrets management.

- Troubleshooting Work alongside senior engineers to diagnose and resolve environment-related issues and deployment bottlenecks.

- Documentation Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for infrastructure configurations and operational processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Cloud Foundations A basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

- Systems Knowledge Familiarity with Linux systems and comfort working within the command line.

- Version Control Solid knowledge of Git and standard version control workflows (branching, merging, pull requests).

- Scripting Basic proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash/Shell or Python.

- DevOps Concepts A foundational understanding of CI/CD concepts and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Tools Exposure Hands-on exposure to Docker is required; any experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible is a significant plus.

- Aptitude A strong desire to learn new technologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
