Junior DevOps Engineer

About the Role :

We are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer with 3-4 years of hands-on experience to support and enhance cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes. This role focuses primarily on AWS-based DevOps operations across multiple products, along with managing TeamCity, Jenkins, and Git-based deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment practices, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-product environment while ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage, monitor, and optimize AWS infrastructure including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC

- Support deployment and scaling of applications across multiple environments

- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation

- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud systems

- Manage and maintain TeamCity pipelines for build and deployment workflows

- Automate build, test, and deployment processes across environments

- Troubleshoot deployment failures and optimize pipeline performance

- Collaborate with development teams to improve release cycles

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, or similar tools

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues

- Support incident response and root cause analysis

- Apply DevSecOps best practices including IAM policies, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning

- Ensure systems comply with internal and external security standards

- Work closely with development, QA, and product teams

- Provide support for customer deployments and production issues

- Document infrastructure, processes, and operational runbooks

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- 3-4 years of experience in DevOps or related roles

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins

- Familiarity with Docker and container-based deployments

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)

- Proficiency in scripting using Bash, Python, or similar

- Understanding of networking concepts including VPC, subnets, load balancers, and DNS

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools

- Knowledge of container orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes is a plus)

- Experience with Git-based workflows and version control best practices
