Junior Automation Tester - Software Quality Assurance

Job Description :

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior QA Tester with 1 to 2 years of experience in Automation testing to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Selenium with Java (OOPs concepts), a solid understanding of manual testing practices, and basic knowledge of API testing. Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail are essential.

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and Java.

- Execute and analyse test cases for web applications to ensure quality and performance.

- Perform manual testing when necessary to validate new features and regression cases.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to

ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.

- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools.

- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings.

- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation and QA processes.

- (Advantageous) Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.

- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium with Java.

- Good understanding of Java OOPS concepts.

- Solid foundation in manual testing methodologies and practices.

- Basic knowledge or exposure to API testing.

- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, etc.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience with TestNG, Maven, or any test framework.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Exposure to version control tools like Git.

- Knowledge of continuous integration tools like Jenkins.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
