Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead Media Delivery & Content Pipeline to architect, lead, and optimize large-scale media delivery systems and content processing pipelines. This role requires deep expertise in media workflows, streaming technologies, cloud infrastructure, and high-performance distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and lead end-to-end media delivery platforms and content pipelines

- Architect scalable, resilient systems for media ingestion, processing, storage, and distribution

- Lead technical decisions for video/audio encoding, transcoding, packaging, and delivery

- Optimize performance, latency, and reliability of content delivery workflows

- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

- Guide and mentor engineering teams; enforce best practices and coding standards

- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and observability of media systems

- Drive automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure scalability

- Evaluate and integrate third-party media services, CDNs, and tools

- Maintain technical documentation and architectural designs

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 8+ years of experience in backend or platform engineering, with strong ownership of media systems

- Deep understanding of media delivery technologies (HLS, DASH, DRM, CDN, streaming protocols)

- Hands-on experience with video/audio encoding, transcoding, and packaging workflows

- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Proficiency in backend programming languages (Java, Go, Python, C++, or similar)

- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Strong understanding of networking, caching, and content delivery concepts
