Java Technical Lead - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Java Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java technologies, system architecture, coding standards, microservices, and distributed systems. The role requires hands-on technical leadership, mentoring capabilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Java applications.

- Architect scalable and high-performance solutions using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best coding practices.

- Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and solution design sessions.

- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and payment systems.

- Work extensively on multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.

- Collaborate with product managers, QA teams, DevOps, and stakeholders for successful project delivery.

- Ensure application scalability, security, reliability, and availability.

- Implement and maintain Kafka-based event-driven architecture and messaging systems.

- Participate in architecture decisions, technology evaluations, and framework selections.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.

- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis.

- Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle processes and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills & Competencies :

- Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8+, and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices architecture.

- Strong understanding of Hibernate/JPA and relational databases.

- Expertise in multithreading, concurrency, collections, and JVM tuning.

- Experience working with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems.

- Strong knowledge of design patterns, system design, and architecture principles.

- Experience in REST API development and integration.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is preferred.

- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, Jenkins, and DevOps practices.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in FinTech, Payments, or Banking domain.

- Exposure to distributed systems and high-transaction platforms.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development is an advantage.
