About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust backend solutions while following industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Develop and implement RESTful APIs and Microservices.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and frontend developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Perform unit testing, code reviews, and debugging to ensure software quality.

- Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and cloud platforms.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills :

- 7- 10 years of hands-on experience in Java development.

- Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17.

- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.

- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.

- Experience in developing RESTful APIs.

- Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA.

- Good knowledge of SQL and databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience working with Git, Maven, or Gradle.

- Good understanding of design patterns, data structures, and object-oriented programming.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and containerized deployments is preferred.
