Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Java Solution Architect to spearhead the digital transformation of our manufacturing and automotive operations in Chennai and Hyderabad.

In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and scalable technical solutions, designing robust architectures that power our next-generation manufacturing execution systems (MES) and IoT-enabled shop floors.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, global stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure our technology stack aligns with industry-leading standards.

Your work will directly influence the efficiency of our production lines, the reliability of our supply chain, and the overall digital maturity of our manufacturing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and oversee the end-to-end design of high-performance Java-based applications, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of the automotive and manufacturing sectors.

- Lead the migration and modernization of legacy systems into cloud-native microservices architectures to improve system scalability and fault tolerance.

- Drive the integration of IoT devices and MES platforms, ensuring seamless data flow between the shop floor and enterprise-level applications to optimize production insights.

- Define and enforce technical standards, design patterns, and best practices across development teams to maintain high code quality and system maintainability.

- Partner with stakeholders to translate complex manufacturing challenges into actionable technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.

- Mentor senior engineering teams on advanced system design, cloud-native development, and CI/CD automation to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skillset :

- Domain: Automobile / Manufacturing (Mandatory)

- Minimum 5 Years Java 11, Microservice, Spring boot, Any cloud (Azure & GCP)

- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Hands-on with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, AKS, GKE).

- Familiarity with API Gateways, service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, and asynchronous messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra), SQL databases, and data modelling for distributed systems.

- Proven ability to design for resilience, scalability, and observability.

- Experience with DevOps toolchains Jenkins, GitOps, ArgoCD, Terraform, etc.

- Strong grip on logging, tracing, and metrics collection using observability tools.
