Our client a leading IT services company with over 20,000 employees is looking for skilled and motivated Java Production Specialists to join their on-site support teams in Bangalore and Hyderabad. This role focuses on providing L2/L3 production support for enterprise Java applications in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with monitoring tools, and proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide L2/L3 support for Java-based enterprise applications in a production environment.

- Monitor system performance and application health using tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Dynatrace, Kibana, and Control-M.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and collaborate with development teams for permanent resolutions.

- Conduct code-level debugging and contribute to bug fixing and support automation.

- Execute SQL queries for troubleshooting and data validation.

- Utilize Linux/Unix command-line tools for diagnostics and support.

- Adhere to ITIL/ITSM processes for incident, problem, and change management.

- Maintain runbooks, support documentation, and knowledge base articles.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Required Skills :

- 4 - 7 years of hands-on experience in Java production support, including bug fixing and automation.

- Proficiency in one or more monitoring/logging tools : AppDynamics, Splunk, Dynatrace, Kibana, Control-M, or ServiceNow.

- Strong SQL skills for query writing and issue investigation.

- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills at the code and application level.

- Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments using the command line.

- Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM frameworks.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure support environment and drive long-term resolutions.

Additional Details :

This is a work-from-office role, Monday to Friday.
