About the Role :

We are looking for a talented and passionate Java/Microservices Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, with experience building enterprise-grade applications and distributed systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java and Microservices architecture.

- Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot.

- Build scalable and resilient systems following modern software engineering principles.

- Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and team members to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards, quality, and best practices are followed.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams for deployment and release activities.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- 3- 8 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java technologies.

- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices development.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.

- Experience with Hibernate/JPA and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

- Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.

- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Experience with messaging technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus.

- Familiarity with distributed systems concepts and scalable application design.
