Java Lead - Spring Boot/Hibernate

Description :

We are looking for an experienced Java Lead to design and develop scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using modern Java and cloud-native technologies.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java-based backend development, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and containerized environments, along with the ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend applications using modern Java technologies

- Architect and develop microservices-based solutions using :

1. Java 17+

2. Spring Boot 3.x

3. Reactive programming frameworks

- Design and implement :

1. RESTful APIs

2. Event-driven architectures

3. Distributed and resilient systems

- Work with containerized and orchestration platforms including Kubernetes and Service Mesh technologies

- Develop and optimize integrations with NoSQL databases and caching systems

- Ensure application scalability, reliability, security, and performance optimization

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, DevOps, QA, and frontend teams

- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions

- Mentor developers and drive engineering best practices across teams

- Troubleshoot complex production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7- 12 years of experience in Java backend development and enterprise application engineering

- Strong hands-on expertise in :

1. Java 17 and above

2. Spring Boot 3.x

3. Hibernate / JPA

4. REST API development

5. Reactive Programming

- Strong understanding of :

1. Microservices architecture

2. Event-Driven Design

3. Distributed systems

4. API-first development

- Hands-on experience with :

1. Kubernetes

2. Service Mesh technologies

3. NoSQL databases

- Experience working with :

1. Mongo-compatible DocumentDB (preferred)

2. Caching technologies such as Hazelcast (preferred)

- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills

- Experience working in Agile and DevOps-driven environments
