Role : Java Kafka Developer

Role Overview :

As a Java Kafka Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable data streaming solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, product managers, and other engineers, to build robust microservices and data pipelines that power critical business applications. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our data processing capabilities, enabling faster insights and improved decision-making for our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines using Kafka and related technologies to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.

- Implement and maintain microservices architecture using Spring Boot to build scalable and resilient applications.

- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to define and implement best practices for data streaming and microservices development.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Kafka and microservices to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.

- Optimize Kafka configurations and microservices performance to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the code.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.

- Contribute to the development of documentation and training materials to support the adoption of new technologies and processes.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.

- Proven expertise in Java programming and related frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.

- Solid understanding of microservices architecture principles and best practices.

- Experience with building and deploying applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad.
