We are looking for a backend focused Full Stack Java Engineer who takes ownership of building, evolving, and operating reliable backend services while collaborating closely with product and engineering peers.

This role emphasizes strong backend fundamentals, modern engineering practices, and a high level of interest in AI technologies such as MCP, agentic flows, and A2A patterns.

Frontend experience is helpful but not the primary focus backend strength, communication, and curiosity matter most.

Backend Engineering (Primary Focus) :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java backend services using Spring Boot (or similar frameworks).

- Build APIs and services backed by SQL-based data stores.

- Apply 12-factor application principles to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

- Write clean, testable, and production-ready code using Test-Driven Development (TDD).

- Make thoughtful design decisions, prioritizing simplicity and clarity over over-engineering.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across service, container, and basic networking layers.

Platform & Delivery :

- Create and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.

- Deploy, run, and support applications on Kubernetes (K8s).

- Provide operational support for backend services in user and production environments.

- Participate in improving system observability, resiliency, and operational maturity over time.

Frontend (Supporting Contribution) :

- Contribute to frontend development as needed (primarily React).

AI & Emerging Technologies :

Demonstrate a strong interest in AI technologies, including :

- MCP

- Agentic flows

- A2A (agent-to-agent) patterns

- Explore, prototype, or assist in integrating LLM-based solutions where applicable.

- Stay curious and informed about how AI can enhance developer productivity and product capabilities
