Java Full Stack Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Position : Java Full Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure full-stack applications.

- Develop and implement back-end services and APIs using Java, Microservices architecture, and the Spring Boot framework.

- Build interactive and responsive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks, specifically React.

- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring high quality and performance.

- Utilize and contribute to a Microservices architecture to create independent, deployable services.

- Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for efficient deployment and management of applications.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

- Deploy and manage applications on a cloud platform, with a focus on AWS.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Use project management tools like Jira to track tasks, manage workflows, and ensure timely delivery.

- Manage source code and collaborate on projects using GitHub for version control.

- Utilize Visual Studio Code as a primary development environment, along with other relevant tools.

- Ensure designs and code are in compliance with specifications and meet high-quality standards.

- Practice Test-Driven Development (TDD) by writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability and functionality.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers.

- Debug and resolve complex technical issues and application defects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4-7 years of professional experience as a Java Full Stack Developer.

- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot.

- Extensive experience designing and developing Microservices.

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.

- Proven experience with React.

- Familiarity with modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.

- Practical experience with AWS cloud services.

- Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control.

- Experience with Jira for project and issue tracking.

- Demonstrated experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).

- Familiarity with Visual Studio Code.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
