Role Overview:

As a Java Developer at Thomasmount Consulting, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable applications using Java, Spring, and Microservices Architecture. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' evolving needs. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop high-performance, scalable Java-based applications using Spring framework and Microservices Architecture for our clients.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices for maintainability and reliability.

- Collaborate with architects and other developers to define and implement technical solutions that align with business requirements and architectural guidelines for project success.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and ensure adherence to best practices for continuous improvement.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to our clients' operations for optimal performance.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools, enhancing efficiency and productivity for the team.

- Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security for our clients.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated proficiency in Java programming language, with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.

- Proven ability to develop applications using Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) and Microservices Architecture.

- Experience with RESTful API design and development, including security considerations.

- Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Cochin/Kochi.
