Job Description :

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our client's engineering team and build reliable, scalable, and high-performance applications. You will work closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain backend systems and APIs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Java-based frameworks.

- Build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

- Troubleshoot application issues and improve performance and reliability.

- Work with databases and integrate applications with internal and third-party systems.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, QA, and DevOps teams.

- Follow software development best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and development standards.

Required Skills :

- Strong programming skills in Java.

- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, or similar Java frameworks.

- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms.

- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Familiarity with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

- Understanding of Git and version control.

- Knowledge of software design principles and development best practices.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Microservices Architecture.

- Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Exposure to messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
