Role Overview :

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining high-concurrency backend systems that serve as the backbone for our clients' digital operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams, system architects, and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Your work will directly influence the scalability and reliability of enterprise-grade platforms, ensuring seamless performance for thousands of end-users while mentoring junior developers to elevate the overall technical standards of the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot to support high-traffic enterprise applications.

- Optimize existing database queries and backend processes to enhance system performance and reduce latency for end-users.

- Lead code reviews and technical discussions to ensure adherence to best practices, design patterns, and security standards.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment frequency and reliability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, providing root cause analysis to prevent future system bottlenecks.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment between product goals and engineering output.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, with a deep understanding of JVM internals and memory management.

- Proven ability to design and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architectures within distributed systems.

- Strong proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including complex query optimization and schema design.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead collaborative team efforts.

- Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, maintaining high levels of self-discipline and proactive communication across multiple time zones.

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supported by 7 - 11 years of hands-on experience in backend software development.
