Key Responsibilities :

Develop Backend Services and Microservices Using Java :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and related frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.

- Build microservices-based architecture to ensure modular, maintainable, and high-performing applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

- Write clean, reusable, secure, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.

Build REST APIs & Participate in Application Design and Development :

- Design and develop RESTful APIs for seamless integration between frontend applications, third-party systems, and internal services.

- Participate in application architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and solution planning.

- Implement API security, authentication, authorization, and data validation mechanisms.

- Work on database design, schema optimization, and integration with SQL/NoSQL databases.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and responsiveness of applications.

Debug, Test, and Optimize Performance :

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure application quality and reliability.

- Monitor application performance and optimize backend services for better efficiency and response time.

- Analyze logs, server issues, and production incidents to provide timely fixes and improvements.

Support Deployment and Maintenance :

- Assist in application deployment activities across development, staging, and production environments.

- Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams for CI/CD pipeline integration and release management.

- Monitor applications post-deployment and provide ongoing maintenance and support.

- Ensure system stability, security compliance, and regular updates/patches.

- Participate in production support activities and handle critical incidents when required.

Preferred Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture

- Experience with REST APIs and Web Services

- Knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle

- Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms is an added advantage

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
