Role Overview :

As a Java Developer at Patch Infotech, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and resilient microservices-based applications. You will collaborate closely with a team of talented engineers, product managers, and architects to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of critical business processes within the financial and healthcare sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable Java-based microservices, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices and coding standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define specifications, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with other systems and applications.

- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the developed code.

- Deploy and manage applications in Docker containers, leveraging containerization technologies for efficient resource utilization and scalability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and develop high-performance, scalable, and resilient Java applications using frameworks like Spring Boot.

- Proven expertise in working with Hibernate or other ORM frameworks for efficient data persistence and retrieval.

- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture principles and patterns, with experience in building and deploying microservices-based applications.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies, including Docker Compose and Kubernetes (preferred).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
