Role Overview :

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement, and architectural evolution of enterprise-grade applications built on Java and GWT frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between custom Java solutions and SAP NetWeaver environments. Your contributions will directly impact the stability and performance of business-critical systems, ensuring that complex technical requirements are translated into scalable, high-performing software solutions that meet evolving client needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Engineer and maintain complex Java-based applications using GWT to ensure high availability and performance for enterprise users.

- Integrate custom Java modules with SAP NetWeaver platforms to facilitate seamless data flow and business process automation.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs to enable interoperability between disparate systems and enhance service-oriented architecture.

- Troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical issues within legacy Java 6 environments to minimize downtime and maintain system integrity.

- Collaborate with functional consultants and SAP architects to align technical deliverables with overarching business objectives.

- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold high standards of software quality and architectural best practices.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in Core Java and GWT development, with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle in enterprise environments.

- Proven ability to manage and refactor legacy codebases, specifically Java 6, while ensuring compatibility with modern integration standards.

- Strong technical proficiency in SAP NetWeaver and SAP integration patterns, enabling the successful connection of custom applications with SAP ecosystems.

- Advanced knowledge of REST API design and implementation to support scalable, service-oriented application architectures.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
