Java Developer - Enterprise Applications

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain production-grade enterprise applications, REST APIs, and platform microservices. The ideal candidate should have strong object-oriented programming skills and experience in customer issue resolution and technical escalations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade software applications using Java.

- Design and implement REST APIs for application teams.

- Build scalable and reliable platform microservices.

- Resolve software defects, customer issues, and technical escalations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions.

- Leverage AI coding tools to improve development and debugging efficiency.

Mandatory Skills :

- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 5+ years of experience in Computer Science or an equivalent science discipline.

- Minimum 5 years of production-grade enterprise software development experience.

- Strong Java and object-oriented programming skills.

- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work with customers and handle technical escalations.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- UI development experience.

- Scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Perl, or Python.

- Familiarity with SAP Ariba.

- Experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
