Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java software development and a strong background in the Banking Domain. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in core Java coding, software development, code writing, debugging, and application development. This is an individual contributor (IC) role, where the candidate will work directly with the client and be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise banking applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications.

- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented Java code.

- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Develop scalable and high-performance applications for banking and financial services.

- Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and production issues.

- Optimize application performance and ensure security, reliability, and scalability.

- Ensure timely delivery of assigned development tasks while maintaining code quality.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java Software Development.

- Strong coding expertise in Core Java.

- Hands-on experience in Java application development.

- Excellent programming and problem-solving skills.

- Strong experience in writing, reviewing, and optimizing Java code.

- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and Microservices Architecture.

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

- Experience in unit testing and debugging Java applications.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Banking Domain Experience (Mandatory) :

Candidates must have hands-on experience working on Banking or Financial Services projects, including one or more of the following.
