Job Summary :

Job Title : Backend Engineer (Java + AWS)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.

- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.

- Work on system integration, performance tuning, and production support.

- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.

- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps teams.

- Ensure application security, coding standards, and best practices are followed.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in production and lower environments.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical excellence within the team.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Java 8/11/17.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.

- Expertise in Microservices Architecture.

- Strong experience with AWS services such as :

i. EC2

ii. Lambda

iii. S3

iv. RDS

v. ECS/EKS

vi. API Gateway

vii. CloudWatch

viii. IAM

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Good understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).

- Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging systems.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- AWS Certification is a plus.

- Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Exposure to React or Angular is an added advantage.

- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK, Datadog, or Prometheus.

- Experience working with global delivery teams and client-facing environments.
