Java Commerce Tools Architect

Role : Java CommerceTools Architect.

CommerceTools Expertise :

- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for CommerceTools, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of its features, capabilities, and best practices.

- Lead the configuration, customization, and integration of CommerceTools components to meet specific business needs.

Microservices Architecture and Cloud :

- Design, implement, and lead the development of scalable and modular microservices architecture using SpringBoot.

- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.

- Minimum 10 years of hands-on enterprise development experience.

System Design and Integration :

- Experience architecting end-to-end solutions, considering factors such as performance, scalability, security and maintainability.

Collaboration and Leadership :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other architects, developers, DevOps, and stakeholders to define and refine architectural requirements.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and deploying complex, high-traffic e-commerce platforms using Java, Spring Boot, and Commercetools API-first architecture.

- Proven ability to architect microservices-based solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a deep understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders and influence executive decision-making.

- Strong analytical mindset to troubleshoot systemic bottlenecks and implement performance tuning strategies that enhance user experience and system throughput.

- Collaborative leadership style that thrives in a hybrid work environment, effectively managing distributed teams across different time zones.
