Role:

We are hiring for a Java Backend Developer with strong hands-on development experience in the Fintech - Financial Services domain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.

- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and high-quality production code.

- Build and enhance backend services and APIs for financial services applications.

- Deploy applications on AWS and work with cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.

- Understand and work with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and release management.

- Troubleshoot and resolve code-level issues while ensuring application performance, reliability, and security.

- Leverage AI-powered coding assistants and developer productivity tools to accelerate software development.

- Explore and work with MCP (Model Context Protocol) for integrating AI models with tools, services, and development workflows.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 6 years of hands-on Java development experience.

- Strong coding experience in backend application development.

- Prior experience in the financial services or banking domain.

- Experience deploying applications on AWS.

- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and software release processes.

- Familiarity with AI-based coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar developer assistants.

- Understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and its application in AI-enabled development workflows.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience building microservices and REST APIs.

- Familiarity with Spring Boot and related Java frameworks.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar DevOps tools.

- Exposure to integrating AI tools, LLMs, or MCP-based workflows into software development.
