Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

- Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with internal and external systems.

- Develop clean, maintainable, and high-quality code following coding standards and best practices.

- Work with Hibernate, JPA, and Spring MVC for data access and application development.

- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with applications built using Angular, React, or JavaScript.

- Develop and optimize applications using MongoDB, Cassandra, or other NoSQL databases.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Git.

- Work closely with product owners, QA teams, and architects in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

- Solid understanding of Core Java concepts including Collections, Strings, Interfaces, Exception Handling, Annotations, Lambda Expressions, and Stream API.

- Hands-on experience with Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, and RESTful web services.

- Experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, or React.

- Experience working with MongoDB, Cassandra, or other NoSQL databases.

- Good understanding of Microservices architecture, API design, and deployment strategies.

- Experience with version control and CI/CD tools including Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, and Bamboo.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Oracle SQL and Stored Procedures.

- Knowledge of cloud-based application architecture and design patterns.

- Experience with caching technologies such as Redis, Ehcache, or similar.

- Familiarity with Service Mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).

- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4-8 years of experience in Java application development.

- Experience in enterprise application development using modern Java frameworks and Microservices architecture is preferred.
