Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Java Architect to design and lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud technologies, system architecture, and distributed systems.

The candidate will be responsible for defining technical architecture, guiding development teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of robust enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and implement end-to-end technical architecture for enterprise applications.

- Design scalable, highly available, and secure Java-based solutions.

- Develop and review technical architecture, solution designs, and detailed design documents.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Java development teams.

- Design and implement microservices-based architectures using Java and Spring Boot.

- Evaluate technology choices, frameworks, tools, and architectural patterns based on business requirements.

- Ensure applications follow best practices for performance, scalability, security, maintainability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.

- Conduct architecture and code reviews and provide technical recommendations.

- Define API strategies and integration patterns for enterprise applications.

- Design solutions using RESTful APIs, messaging, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.

- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and performance bottlenecks and recommend appropriate solutions.

- Support cloud migration and cloud-native application development initiatives.

- Mentor and guide developers on architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and best practices.

- Lead technical discussions, proof-of-concepts, and technology evaluations.

- Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture and security standards.

- Support production issues and provide guidance for complex technical challenges.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong experience in Java/J2EE development and architecture.

- Strong hands-on expertise with Java 8/11/17+.

- Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

- Strong experience designing microservices architectures.

- Excellent understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.

- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns.

- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

- Good understanding of NoSQL databases is an advantage.

- Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming platforms.

- Strong understanding of application security, scalability, performance, and high availability.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

- Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing.

- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

- Experience with cloud-native architecture and serverless technologies.

- Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.

- Experience with application performance tuning and distributed tracing.

- Understanding of DevSecOps practices.
