Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Java Architect to define and design enterprise-level application architecture and drive the development of scalable, secure, and high-performing Java solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and design enterprise-level Java application architecture aligned with business and technology objectives.

- Architect and develop scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performance applications using modern Java frameworks.

- Translate business requirements into comprehensive technical architecture and solution designs.

- Lead architectural decisions across application design, technology selection, integration, scalability, and performance.

- Design microservices-based and distributed applications using modern architectural patterns.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Review application architecture, technical designs, and code to ensure adherence to engineering standards.

- Define and enforce best practices around coding standards, design patterns, security, performance, and maintainability.

- Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, messaging platforms, and other integration technologies.

- Identify technical risks and provide solutions to improve application scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, DevOps, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate tools, frameworks, and platforms.

- Support cloud adoption and modernization initiatives where applicable.

- Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical specifications, and design standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong experience in Java application development and enterprise architecture.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Core Java, Java 8+, and modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Framework.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.

- Experience with application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

- Strong knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and software architecture best practices.

- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or similar technologies.

- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms.

- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, containerization, and technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
