Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications.

The role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, developing automation scripts, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality products.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test plans and test cases

- Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and UAT testing

- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools

- Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues

- Validate data integrity, UI/UX, and cross-browser compatibility

- Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and resolve defects

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or API applications

- Select and implement appropriate automation frameworks and tools

- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results

- Maintain test scripts to ensure stability and reusability

- Participate in test strategy, test estimation, and release planning

- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices

- Prepare test reports, metrics, and quality dashboards

- Support performance, security, and compatibility testing when required

- Work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams in Agile/Scrum environments

- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews

- Continuously improve test coverage, test effectiveness, and automation efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals and SDLC/STLC

- Hands-on experience in manual testing techniques

- Experience in automation testing tools such as :

1. Selenium / Playwright / Cypress

2. TestNG / JUnit / NUnit

- Experience in scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript

- Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI)

- Understanding of database testing and basic SQL queries

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
