Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile applications using Appium.

- Develop and execute automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications.

- Perform API automation testing using Java-based frameworks and REST APIs.

- Design and execute web automation test suites using Selenium or Playwright.

- Create reusable automation components and improve existing test frameworks.

- Perform manual testing for new features, regression testing, exploratory testing, and user acceptance validation where required.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to understand functional and technical requirements.

- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, estimation, and defect management.

- Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

- Execute regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Analyze test execution results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

- Continuously enhance automation coverage, framework stability, and execution efficiency.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to quality engineering best practices.

Required Skills :

- 4-10 years of experience in Software Testing with significant experience in automation testing.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Appium for Android and iOS mobile automation.

- Excellent programming skills in Java.

- Experience in designing and developing automation frameworks from scratch.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright for web automation.

- Strong experience in API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.

- Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, Maven, and Gradle.

- Experience with Git for source code management.

- Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.

- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or LambdaTest.

- Knowledge of mobile device management and emulator/simulator testing.

- Experience with performance and accessibility testing.

- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for test execution environments.

- Exposure to SQL and database validation.

- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience working with microservices-based applications.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Relevant certifications in automation testing are an added advantage.
