As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be responsible for architecting and implementing advanced automation frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of our complex software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and DevOps engineers, to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Your work will directly impact the end-user experience by identifying critical defects early in the development lifecycle and ensuring that our security and management platforms perform seamlessly under enterprise-level workloads.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks from scratch to support complex software testing requirements.

- Collaborate with software developers to perform code reviews and ensure that testability is integrated into the product architecture.

- Execute performance and load testing to validate system stability and scalability for large-scale enterprise deployments.

- Mentor junior team members on best practices in automation, test design, and quality assurance methodologies.

- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in product quality.

- Manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle for specific modules, ensuring timely delivery within an Agile development environment.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for building robust automation scripts.

- Extensive experience in designing test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar industry-standard libraries.

- Strong understanding of RESTful API testing and experience with tools like Postman or RestAssured.

- Proven ability to work within a hybrid work environment in Bengaluru, coordinating effectively with global teams across different time zones.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into comprehensive test strategies.

- Strong communication skills to articulate quality risks and technical challenges to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, backed by 5 to 10 years of professional experience in software testing and development.
