Designation : Pipeline Pilot Protocol (PLP) Developer (Laboratory Infrastructure Support)


Qualification : Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, Chemistry or related field.

Experience : Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Pipeline Pilot Protocol (PLP) development, scientific workflow automation and data integration within life sciences or drug discovery environments.

Work Location : Remote / Work from Home (India) - Working in collaboration with ITSoli US Service Delivery Team, supporting US Biopharmaceutical clients.

Work Timing : Must be willing to work full-time US (PST) business hours

Job Role : The Pipeline Pilot Protocol (PLP) Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and optimizing data workflows and automation protocols using BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot. The role involves working closely with scientific, research and technology teams to streamline scientific data processing, integration, analysis and reporting across drug discovery and development processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and maintain Pipeline Pilot protocols and workflows for scientific data integration, processing, analysis and reporting

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including scientists, researchers, data analysts and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into effective computational solutions

- Automate data processing and analysis workflows to improve efficiency, consistency and productivity across research and development activities

- Integrate Pipeline Pilot with databases, APIs, external scientific tools and enterprise systems to enable seamless data exchange

- Troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing protocols and workflows for improved performance, scalability, reliability and reusability

Tech Stack & Skills :

- Hands-on experience with BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot, including protocol development, customization and workflow automation

- Strong programming and scripting skills using Pilot script and languages such as Python, Java or Perl

- Knowledge of scientific data processing, cheminformatics, bioinformatics or computational research workflows

- Familiarity with relational databases, SQL and database integration within Pipeline Pilot

- Understanding of Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical R&D, particularly drug discovery and development processes
