Designation : Discoverant System Administrator

Qualification : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience : Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in administering and supporting Discoverant within GxP-regulated pharmaceutical environments, with strong exposure to data integration, analytics and CSV compliance.

Work Timing :

- Work schedule can be split into 4 hours PM (IST) and 4 hours AM (PST) working hours once KT (Knowledge Transfer) days are completed for new Joiners During KT Period (i.e. 3 months) work schedule will be complete US (PST) working hours.

Job Role :

We are seeking a skilled Discoverant System Administrator to manage, maintain and support the Discoverant platform within a regulated pharmaceutical or life sciences environment. The role involves ensuring system reliability, performance optimization, data integrity and compliance with GxP standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, IT and Validation to support data analytics, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and maintain the Discoverant system, ensuring high availability and optimal performance

- Configure data models, data sources and integrations with manufacturing and quality systems

- Support data ingestion, transformation and visualization for process analytics

- Perform system upgrades, patching and routine maintenance activities

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5 and other GxP requirements

- Develop and maintain system documentation including SOPs, configuration documents and validation artifacts

- Support CSV lifecycle activities (URS, FS/DS, IQ/OQ/PQ) in coordination with validation teams

- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements

- Manage user access, roles and security in compliance with data integrity guidelines

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Discoverant (data analytics platform in Life Sciences)

- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and data flows

- Experience in Computer System Validation (CSV) in GxP environments

- Knowledge of database systems (SQL Server / Oracle) and query writing

- Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes and system interfaces

- Understanding of regulatory compliance (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, GAMP 5)

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Desired Skills :

- Experience with MES, LIMS or other manufacturing/quality systems

- Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools

- Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell or similar)

- Exposure to cloud platforms or modern data architectures

- Experience in Agile / DevOps environments
