We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SAP BODS Consultant to join our team in Bangalore. This role is for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP Data Services. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting robust data integration solutions, ensuring data quality, and driving the success of our data migration and warehousing projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- SAP Integration with BODS : Design, develop, and implement complex ETL jobs using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) to extract, transform, and load data between various source systems, including SAP applications and non-SAP systems.

- Support & Maintenance : Provide ongoing support for existing BODS jobs and data integration processes, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and resolving data-related issues.

- Transforms and Logic : Utilize a variety of BODS transforms (e.g., Query, Join, Case, SQL, Table Comparison) to implement business logic, data cleansing, and data quality rules.

- Reusability of Objects : Promote and implement best practices for reusability by creating and maintaining reusable objects such as transforms, functions, and custom dataflows to improve development efficiency and consistency across projects.

- Functions and Scripting : Develop and implement custom functions and use scripting languages within BODS to enhance job functionality and address complex business requirements.

- Datastore Configurations : Configure and manage Datastores to establish seamless connectivity with various SAP applications (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW) and non-SAP databases.

- Database Expertise : Write and optimize SQL queries and develop stored procedures to support data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, development standards, and test cases.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as an SAP BODS Consultant.

- Proven expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end data integration solutions using SAP BODS.

- In-depth knowledge of various BODS transforms and their application in real-world scenarios.

- Experience in connecting to SAP applications (ECC, S/4HANA, BW) and other databases via Datastore configurations.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with stored procedures.

- Familiarity with data quality management and data cleansing techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards challenges.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
