Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Azure + FinOps Specialist to join our team at the client location in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience in public cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, and AWS) with a strong background in cloud cost optimization (FinOps), budgeting, and governance.

You will be responsible for analysing cloud spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities, implementing optimization strategies, and driving FinOps best practices across multi-cloud environments, also have good knowledge on MS Excel and Powerpoint.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead cloud cost analysis, reporting, and optimization across Azure, AWS, and GCP.

- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to establish and manage FinOps practices.

- Monitor and analyse cloud billing, usage reports, and forecast spend to identify anomalies and savings opportunities.

- Design and implement automation scripts and policies to enforce cost controls (e.g., auto-shutdown, rightsizing, unused resource cleanup).

- Provide visibility and accountability through cost dashboards, budgets, and alerts (e.g., using Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing, AWS Cost Explorer).

- Enable tagging strategy and resource ownership mapping for accurate cost allocation.

- Drive Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Spot Instances strategies and subscription planning.

- Define and implement governance policies using Azure Policies, Budgets, and Azure Advisor recommendations.

- Conduct cost optimization workshops and present regular FinOps reports to stakeholders.

- Evaluate and implement cloud-native and third-party tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Apptio Cloudability, CloudCheckr, Finout) for FinOps automation.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3 to 8 years of overall experience in IT/cloud with at least 3 years of experience in Azure, AWS or GCP.

- Strong understanding of FinOps principles, cloud billing, and cloud cost optimization techniques.

- Proficient in Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer, GCP Billing tools.

- Experience with Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar scripting tools for automation.

- Knowledge of cloud governance, tagging policies, and access control (RBAC/IAM).

- Strong data analysis skills using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- FinOps Certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Nice to Have :

- Experience with CloudHealth, CloudCheckr, Cloudability, or similar cost tools.

- Exposure to ServiceNow ITFM/ITBM or other IT financial management platforms.

- Familiarity with CSP/EA billing models and cloud contracts.

Work Mode :
