ITC Infotech - Anaplan Developer

Key Responsibilities :

1. Anaplan Model Design & Development :

- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, efficient, and maintainable Anaplan model designs, adhering to Anaplan best practices (e.g., DISCO methodology).

- Develop and configure Anaplan modules, lists, hierarchies, and properties to accurately represent business dimensions and data structures.

- Write and optimize complex Anaplan formulas and calculations to support various planning scenarios, financial calculations, and performance metrics.

- Design and build intuitive, user-friendly dashboards and interfaces that provide clear actionable insights and enhance the user experience.

- Develop and manage data integrations between Anaplan and various source systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, data warehouses) using Anaplan Connect, APIs, or other integration tools, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.

- Implement and manage robust user security roles, access permissions, and data visibility within Anaplan models.

2. Performance Optimization & Maintenance :

- Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize Anaplan model performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and implementing efficiency improvements.

- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues within Anaplan models, data integrations, and user interfaces.

- Perform regular maintenance, updates, and enhancements to existing Anaplan models to ensure their accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with evolving business needs.

- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including model blueprints, data flow diagrams, calculation logic, and integration specifications.

3. Collaboration & Support :

- Collaborate extensively with business users, financial analysts, and project managers to gather detailed business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Anaplan development.

- Provide technical support and training to end-users, assisting with model navigation, data entry, report generation, and troubleshooting user-reported issues.

- Advocate for and ensure adherence to Anaplan best practices and governance standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Technical Skills & Experience :

- Proven experience as an Anaplan Developer with a strong portfolio of successfully implemented Anaplan models.

- Deep expertise in Anaplan platform functionalities, including :

1. Module, List, and Blueprinting (e.g., DISCO methodology)

2. Formulas, Functions, and Calculation Logic (SUM, LOOKUP, COLLECT, LINK, etc.)

3. Data Integration (Anaplan Connect, APIs, flat files, etc.)

4. Dashboarding and User Experience (UX) design

5. Security, Roles, and Access Control

6. Data Tags and Selective Access

- Strong understanding of multi-dimensional modeling concepts.

- Experience with Anaplan ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) for model development and deployment.

- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis, with an ability to work with large datasets.

- Familiarity with API integrations and data exchange formats (e.g., JSON, XML).

- Experience with SQL or other database query languages is a plus.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation or data preparation is a bonus.

- Understanding of financial planning & analysis (FP&A), sales planning, supply chain planning, or other

relevant business domains is highly desirable.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.

- Anaplan Model Builder Certification (Level 2 or 3 preferred).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
