IT Support Engineer - Troubleshooting

As a part of the IT Team, you will have a chance to ideate, execute, monitor, and optimize online and offline campaigns for the client at the hyper-local, constituency, district, division, and state levels. As a part of the process, you will also have the opportunity to participate in party-facing and vendor-facing interactions in order to drive project execution.

The core responsibilities for the job include the following :

Hardware and Software Troubleshooting :

- Respond to and resolve technical issues users report through various channels (phone, email, chat).

- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.

- Install, configure, and update OS software and applications.

- Provide remote assistance to users for technical issues and utilise remote desktop tools to

troubleshoot and resolve problems.

- Manage and troubleshoot network devices, ensuring smooth connectivity.

- Administer firewall settings to enhance network security.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Maintain detailed records of hardware and software interventions using Google Docs and Sheets.

- Generate reports on recurring issues, resolutions, and preventive measures.

End-User Support :

- Offer timely and effective support to end-users, addressing their IT-related concerns with login issues, password resets, and account management.

- Educate users on primary computer usage and best practices on IT policies and procedures.

Vendor Coordination :

- Liaise with vendors for hardware and software procurement and support.

- Manage relationships with external service providers for network and API-related services.

API Utilisation :

- Leverage knowledge of using platform APIs to integrate and streamline IT processes.

- Develop and implement solutions that enhance efficiency through API interactions.

Requirements :

- Willingness to travel extensively and work long hours.

- Collaborate with other IT professionals for complex problem-solving.

- Analytical thinking to identify and solve issues.

- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS).

- Proficiency in English, Tamil, and Hindi is required. Additionally, multilingual proficiency in

regional dialects such as Kannada and Malayalam is preferred, depending on the requirements.

Good to Have Skills :

- Bachelor's degree/Master's degree.

- Professionals with 1-2 years of experience.
