IT SOC Analyst

About the Role :

We are looking for an IT SOC Analyst to join our cybersecurity operations team. You will handle escalated incidents, provide advanced troubleshooting, and ensure timely resolution of complex security challenges. This role is ideal for professionals with strong technical expertise and a passion for cybersecurity operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage incidents escalated from Tier 1 and deliver advanced support.

- Provide specialist services with deeper technical expertise compared to Tier 1 support.

- Follow documented workflows from senior staff, vendors, and product management.

- Maintain and update a Runbook for immediate resolutions.

- Collaborate with other support groups to resolve cross- linked incidents.

- Escalate unresolved issues to Tier 3 with proper documentation.

- Analyze, comprehend, and resolve security incidents within defined SLAs.

- Act as the second level of escalation in the SOC, ensuring precision and timeliness.

Qualifications :

- B.Tech / Equivalent Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management frameworks.

Experience :

- 2-6 years of overall IT/SOC experience.

- Minimum 4+ years of hands- on expertise on a specific technology platform (security, networking, or infrastructure).

- Prior exposure to Tier 1/Tier 2 SOC environments preferred.

Desired Skills :

- Ability to comprehend complex security incidents and provide effective resolutions.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Familiarity with escalation protocols and SLA adherence.
