As a Production Support in HNR Tech, you will create products that use leading-edge web technologies with a passionate team of Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers.
You will help prototype new ideas which will enable us to innovate.
Technical Skills (Value-Added Abilities/Good to have) :
- Utilize Rundeck for efficient job automation, deployment, and orchestration.
- Proficiently work with Gearman for distributed task execution and load balancing.
- Utilize Elastic Search for data indexing, searching, and analytics.
- Configure and maintain SSH servers for secure remote access.
- Collaborate with the development team on PHP-based projects.
Preferred : Experience with Metabase for creating insightful data visualizations and dashboards.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and optimize AWS services, including RDS, Amazon S3, and EC2 instances.
- Administer MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Utilize GitHub for version control and collaborative software development.
- Manage repositories, branches, and pull requests efficiently.
- Utilize JIRA for task management, issue tracking, and project planning, and collaborate with team members by assigning, tracking, and updating tasks.
- Manage and optimize AWS services such as RDS, EC2, and CloudWatch to ensure efficient operations.
- Implement DataDog for proactive monitoring, creating customized dashboards, and alerts for system health.
- Work with Edgio to enhance web performance.
- Write SQL queries in Metabase to assist developers in retrieving necessary data.
- Utilize GitHub for version control.
- Utilize JIRA for task management, issue tracking, and project planning
- Collaborate closely with team members, including developers, DevOps, and stakeholders, by assigning, tracking, and updating tasks.
- Perform manual testing, including happy path testing on BrowserStack, to maintain site uptime and quality assurance.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and drive critical tickets within SLA requirements.
- Create JIRA tickets for identified bugs and track their resolution.
- Utilize Site 24x7 for monitoring network availability across remote infrastructure.
- Resolving and assisting with various website issues to deliver the best user experience.
- Utilize FullStory for in-depth analysis of user interactions and experiences on the website.
- Using Rundeck for tasks like monitoring and rerunning failed jobs.
Requirements :
- Min 6 months to 1 year of System Administration, MySQL Administration, and Network Administration experience.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related ?eld, or equivalent experience required.
- System administration and IT certifications in, AWS server and network or other network-related fields.
- A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans.
- Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
